Time is fickle, sometimes a day can seem like a lifetime, and others come on quickly, and can change just as fast. Reminds me of a quote a friend told me once, by Gretchen Rubin: “The days are long, but the years are short.” This past weekend found me, thinking deeply of friendships that have come and past. Remembering people who I have drifted apart from, and I was sad, feeling in loss. And yet- here she is. Clear as day, shining in all of it- reminding me to smile.
